Guide me in selecting the balance of ancestry. In my family, my mother’s side believes we are German. Father’s people from Italy. Different diets. Different backgrounds.

It’s possible you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The most important thing is to get all your basic nutrition from supplements, so don’t forget your multivitamin, Omega-3 and some extra boosters for vitamin C. Your main diet should chieflly be unprocessed foods (avoid canned foods and those with lots of preservatives). The Italians tend to rely on a lot of wheat products (bread and pasta) which I usually caution against.
You will know after you’ve eaten — things that don’t agree with you are candidates to eliminate. I can’t be more specific in this venue, but we can discuss more another time.
Now — I know you don’t need to lose any weight, but I hope you eat healthy and stay healthy.
